  • Pottery Intensive 3-8

    For Hutchison students and siblings entering grades 3-8
    LIMITED ENROLLMENT


    This two week course includes hand building and throwing on the wheel.

  • A Midsummer Night's Dream Fairy Ballet

    Monday-Friday; July 6-17 | 1:00-4:00 PM
    For Hutchison girls and siblings entering grades 3-6
    Session I: July 6-10
    Session II: July 13-17
    Can take one or both sessions
    Keep your girl's love for dance blossoming throughout the summer. We will start each day with an all-levels ballet class and then explore choreography based on William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. We will also create costumes and set pieces for a socially distanced performance on the final day of camp.

  • DIY SCI Camp

    July 13-17 | 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
    For Hutchison students and siblings entering grades 3-6
    Make cool science projects that mom won't let you do at home! Chemistry rockets, exploding Mentos, elephant toothpaste, egg in a bottle, and smoke bomb launchers. Experiment with magnets, electricity, air pressure, eggs, and sound. Get ready to get messy and have fun!

  • Fabric Design and Mask Making

    For Hutchison students and siblings entering grades 3-6
    July 13-17 | 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
    Learn design techniques including tie dye, block printing, hand painting, and laser printing to design creative and colorful cotton fabrics.  On the last day turn your fabric creations into protective face masks for yourself, friends, and family.

    For Hutchison students and siblings entering grades 3-6
    Read and analyze the original literature, learn how to care for magical creatures, attend potions class, compete in quidditch matches and so much more.

  • Mad Math Skills 3-4

    August 3-7 | 1:00-3:30 PM
    For Hutchison students and siblings entering grades 3-4
    Change your ADDitude about math with this fun, fast-paced skill building experience. Improve math skills and gain confidence for the new school year. Speed and accuracy of math facts will be a focus.

    August 10-14 | 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
    For Hutchison students and siblings entering grades 1-4
    Work with local mosaic artist, Kristi Duckworth, and design your own mosaic tile art pieces. Space is limited.

  • Passport To Spanish

    July 27-31 | 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
    For Hutchison students and siblings entering grades 2-5
    Immerse yourself in the language and culture of far-off lands through cooking, crafts, and games. Use your passport to visit a new country each day.

  • Reading Workshop 3-4 Beatrice Zinker, Upside Down Thinker Virtual Camp

    For girls and boys in entering grades 3-4
    June 22-26
     | Beatrice Zinker, Upside Down Thinker
    Build vocabulary and reading skills with two great books.
    We will read Beatrice Zinker, Upside Down Thinker and talk about the books together, book club style.

  • Reading Workshops 3-4 Ickabog Session II Virtual Camp

    For girls and boys in entering grades 3-4
    July 6-10 The Ickabog
     
    Build vocabulary and reading skills with two great books.
    We will read JK Rowling’s brand-new release, The Ickabog. Create illustrations based on the book to submit in a world-wide contest to have artwork published in The Ickabog book, due to be published in November 2020. We will read and talk about the books together, book club style.

  • Superhero Theatre Camp with Marques Brown

    July 20-24 | 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
    For Hutchison students and siblings entering grades 3-6
    Learn performance basics, like how to use minds, bodies, and voices to theatrically tell a story. Stretch creative muscles by inventing their very own superpowered alter-egos! Campers will share about themselves, what makes them super, and together the class will create an original story to perform at the end of the week!
