Comic Book Design 3-5

Calling all artists, superhero lovers, or graphic novel enthusiasts. During this workshop you will be putting your storytelling skills and artistic skills (either digital or drawing) to use as you create a story for the ages. Read graphic novels and create your own throughout this weeklong workshop that explores the boundary between art and writing.

DIY SCI Camp

Make cool science projects that mom won't let you do at home! Chemistry rockets, exploding Mentos, elephant toothpaste, egg in a bottle, and smoke bomb launchers. Experiment with magnets, electricity, air pressure, eggs, and sound. Get ready to get messy and have fun!

Dollhouse Design

For girls and boys entering grades 1-4
Each camper will be designing, building, and decorating their very own wooden dollhouse to take home at the end of the week. Campers will learn about blueprints, architectural planning, and spend each day customizing both the exterior and the interior of their dollhouse. We will weave carpets, create custom furniture, decorate the houses with fabric accents and more.

Reading Workshop Virtual Camp

Renegades of Rhythm Summer Intensive

The Play's The Thing! Creative Writing

Budding Lin-Manuel Mirandas (Hamilton) will get the opportunity to co-author, perform, and direct their own 10 minute plays during this week-long introduction to playwriting workshop, focused on the theme "What's on the Horizon?" One part creative writing, one part design, and one part action; this class will be all fun! Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes to fully engage in planned activities.

Theatre Camp with Marques Brown

For girls and boys entering grades 1-4
Students will play, discover and get creative.
Summer Theatre Workshop students in Grades 1-4 will develop theatre skills in a supportive, collaborative, and imaginative environment. Guided by Mr. Brown, a professional teaching artist, students will work together as an ensemble to explore and expand their “Actor Toolbox” – their body, voice, and imagination. As a part of each day of the workshop, students will participate in Creative Drama & Improvisation classes, and the week long course will culminate in a short filmed showcase to share and display what they have learned, which will be made available to friends and family.
