  • Cheerleading JK-1

    For girls in grades JK-1

    Explore all the basics of drawing, painting, sculpting, experimenting, and mess-making. Your artist portfolio and pride will be bursting at the seams! Space is limited.
  • BEE NOTES: Group Singing

    For girls in grades JK-1
    School-year length course

    Tuesdays, 3:30-4:00 pm
    September 21-November 30 and February 8-April 19 
    instructor: Hannah Good Crowley (music teacher)  
    cost:  $350
    Learn vocal techniques for performances. Lessons will include group singing and individual instruction. This class gives students a strong foundation for proper use of their vocal talent and the basics of choral singing. Space is limited to 12 students. Bee Notes will perform at the Hutchison music concerts on December 2, 2021 at 5:30 pm and April 21, 2022 at 5:30 pm. 
    Rehearsals for the December 2 concert will be held November 30, December 1, and December 2 after school. Rehearsals for the April 21 concert will be held April 19, 20, and 21 after school.

    Learn beginning cheers and teamwork. Build confidence as you prepare to share your school spirit at a Parent Observation Day the end of the last day of class.
  • Group Piano

    For girls in grades PK-JK

    Enjoy a fun–filled musical experience learning keyboard basics of the piano. Space limited.
  • Group Strings

    For girls and boys in grades JK-2
    School-year length course
    date/time: Mondays, 3:00-3:30 pm
    October 11-December 13 & January 24-April 11
    instructor: Kenna Chelsoi (viola/violin musician)
    cost: $375
    Outstanding group classes inspire and encourage both experienced and beginning string players. If you do not own a violin then you will need to rent one from Lane Music, Amro Music, or Circle Music.

  • How Does Your Garden Grow?

    For girls in grades JK-2

    SPRING >> January 20-April 7 (no class 2/17)
    Spend time outside learning the basics of vegetables, fruit, and flower gardening. What zone do we live in? Where should we plant? How much do we water? Paint and plant a flower pot, make garden markers, build a recycled garden on our new and improved farm and greenhouse, and taste some of the yummy fruits of our labor in this action-packed class.
  • PK-JK Pre-Ballet II

    For girls in PK-JK

    Wednesdays, 3:30-4:00 pm
    instructor: Louisa Koeppel (Hutchison dance teacher and Director of Hutchison Creative Ballet Center)
    cost: $200

    FALL>> September 8-November 17
    SPRING>> January 26-April 6
    Pre-Ballet offers a gentle introduction to the tradition of ballet by reinforcing basics and vocabulary through creative activities and imagination. Plain pink or black leotard and pink ballet shoes are required.
  • Quickstart Tennis

    For girls in JK-1

    The Quickstart Academy will use the teaching method of Quickstart tennis, a program aimed at helping kids in junior kindergarten, kindergarten, and first grade, learn the game of tennis. Using a smaller court, net, racquet, and larger foam tennis balls, the Quickstart method makes the game of tennis easily accessible to the little ones.
  • Ready, Set, Create!

    For girls in grades JK-1

    Mondays, 3:30-4:15 pm
    instructor: Reem Rassoul (early childhood assistant teacher)

    SPRING >> January 24-April 11
    Practice the fundamentals of creativity and creative process in this fun, project-based class. 
  • Soccer Shots

    For girls in grades PK-K

    Thursdays, 3:15-3:45 pm
    instructor: Soccer Shots Coaches
    cost: $175 per session

    FALL >> September 2-November 18 (no class 10/21)
    SPRING >> January 20-April 7 (no class 2/17)
    Soccer Shots utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. Each class will highlight positive character traits such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation.
  • Taekwondo

    For girls and boys in grades JK-6
    School year-length course

    Thursdays, September 2-November 18 (no class 10/21) &  January 20-April 7 (no class 2/17)
     Grades JK-1 // 3:15-3:45 pm
     Grades 2-6 // 3:45-4:30 pm
    instructor: Mallory Ivey (instructor for Midtown Taekwondo)
    cost: $400
    Involve yourself in martial arts to learn discipline and skills that will help you in school and beyond. In the final class, students will test for stripes and belts. No uniform is required; however, you may wear your own uniform or purchase one through Midtown Taekwondo.
